President Jack Miller’s ranking of the World’s Most Literate Nations has drawn worldwide attention. The first-of-its-kind survey ranks nations according to the richness of their “literate practices” as measured by 5 key variables: newspapers; libraries; computer access; education system inputs; and education system outputs.
Simultaneously, President Miller and co-author Michael C. McKenna published a companion book, World Literacy: How Countries Rank and Why it Matters. For a review of World Literacy, click here.
